This Finca La Planeta wine is a deep crimson colour in the glass. It is crafted blend of a Cabernet Sauvignondominated blend, those grapes that grow in the sunbaked hills of Priorat. It opens with a medley of dark fruit scents, balanced outby fresh herby hints of eucalyptus, liquorice, and mint.
Celler Pasanau is a small family winery, farming vineyards located entirely within the region of La Morera de Montsant. Their land encompasses a variety of soils and microclimates, but the vineyard of Finca La Planeta, where this wine originates from, is dominated by schist soils. In the 1980s, the vineyard was taken over by Richard Pasanau, who oversaw the wineries’ modernisation and a huge increase in production.
Although it is often overshadowed by Rioja, the region of Priorat in Catalonia is becoming the go-to location for brilliant wines at a reasonable price. This one is no exception, loaded with flavours of sour cherry, dried herbs, plum, eucalyptus, and cassis. It is a fruit-driven wine, with excellent length and pleasant acidity. Finca La Planeta is ideal for pairing with red meat, tomato broth, or a hard cheese.

overall i had a positive experience, they have a wide range of wines, some which are hard to find anywhere else - the main reason i still buy from them, plus the discounts are fair and often, but... their codes for the first offer only works at the first offer, which if fine, but then why would you send me the voucher in each package i order, why spam me on the email and every time i log in on the website? this is really bothering me... then their rewards points system is useless, first of all because you only get peanuts even after spending €250 on an order, but even those peanuts will expire if you won't order again soon, which is unfair, to say the least... and lastly, if you get a corked wine, a wine with any deffect or a wine that leaked (my last order contained a bottle of $100 Caymus Cabernet with a leaking cork, which made the wine tasted cooked and flat), they have no procedure put in place for you to replace or return the wine or to get a refund or replacement - none, which is a big no no no for any wine collector... so all in all i give it 3 stars for now
