The Ceps Nous is a youthful red wine, bursting with exuberance and a bouquet of plums, ripe red berries, elderberries, and dried herbs, bringing a ‘garrigue’ element. It is made from approximately 40% Merlot, but the majority of the blend is Garnacha, along with a small smattering of other varieties.
Celler Pasanau is a small family winery, and its vineyards exist entirely within the region of La Morera de Montsant. In the 1980s, the vineyard was taken over by Richard Pasanau, who modernised the winery and oversaw a huge increase in production. The Pasanau family’s land encompasses a wide variety of terroirs, but the grapes for this wine were harvested from a selection of their youngest vines.
Ceps Nous is fresh and juicy on the palate, enveloping the mouth in flavours of ripe berries, sour cherry, plum, and dried Mediterranean herbs. Its tannins are fine and agreeable, and the drinking experience is driven by the wine’s elevated acidity. It can be cellared, but it is perfectly fine to enjoy Ceps Nous in its youth. Consider pairing it with soft cheese, poultry, or a savoury red meat stew.

overall i had a positive experience, they have a wide range of wines, some which are hard to find anywhere else - the main reason i still buy from them, plus the discounts are fair and often, but... their codes for the first offer only works at the first offer, which if fine, but then why would you send me the voucher in each package i order, why spam me on the email and every time i log in on the website? this is really bothering me... then their rewards points system is useless, first of all because you only get peanuts even after spending €250 on an order, but even those peanuts will expire if you won't order again soon, which is unfair, to say the least... and lastly, if you get a corked wine, a wine with any deffect or a wine that leaked (my last order contained a bottle of $100 Caymus Cabernet with a leaking cork, which made the wine tasted cooked and flat), they have no procedure put in place for you to replace or return the wine or to get a refund or replacement - none, which is a big no no no for any wine collector... so all in all i give it 3 stars for now
