An unforgettable experience from one of the more prestigious labels in wine production: Casanova Di Neri. This vintage is made exclusively from Sangiovese grapes is a modern approach to the traditional Brunello which fabulously expands the potential for what this grape varietal has to offer. The dense nose and concentrated palate are boldly enhanced by strong, rich notes of red and black fruit. Opulent aromatic impressions of tar, leather and licorice enhance the palate for an effortless, full mouthfeel that is perfectly grounded by well-integrated tannins and good acidity. This Brunello has excellent, impressive depth and focus and a good core and structure to present a daringly perfect balance. A powerful, persistent personality gradually exposes layers of chocolate and spice, unearthing a succulent, complex minerality. One of the distinctive delights of the Tenuta Nuova Brunello is its characteristically exceptional, long, compelling finish.
Very approachable now, especially when given the appropriate time for decanting. A top notch collector’s wine that promises to delight for years to come, making it an enjoyable addition to an enthusiast’s quality wine cellar. This bold, full-bodied wine is enrichened when paired with fish, game, pork, veal or beef. Simply put: this wine is fantastico.

overall i had a positive experience, they have a wide range of wines, some which are hard to find anywhere else - the main reason i still buy from them, plus the discounts are fair and often, but... their codes for the first offer only works at the first offer, which if fine, but then why would you send me the voucher in each package i order, why spam me on the email and every time i log in on the website? this is really bothering me... then their rewards points system is useless, first of all because you only get peanuts even after spending €250 on an order, but even those peanuts will expire if you won't order again soon, which is unfair, to say the least... and lastly, if you get a corked wine, a wine with any deffect or a wine that leaked (my last order contained a bottle of $100 Caymus Cabernet with a leaking cork, which made the wine tasted cooked and flat), they have no procedure put in place for you to replace or return the wine or to get a refund or replacement - none, which is a big no no no for any wine collector... so all in all i give it 3 stars for now
