Located in the Mendoza wine region, at the foot of the Tupungato hill, Callejón del Crimen is part of the Vinos de La Luz family-owned wine group. The company which also owns cellars and vineyards in Italy and Spain is renowned for the production of high-quality wines, produced thanks to the use of modern technologies but always very characteristic of the territory. Recently renovated at the beginning of 2000, the Callejon del Crimen cellar is equipped with air conditioning systems to avoid sudden temperature variations typical of this part of Argentina.

The Malbec grapes for the Relatos del Callejon are selected and harvested by hand at high altitudes in the Vista Flores vineyard. The finished wine is aged for 8 months in French oak barrels.

This exceptional, award-winning Argentine Malbec has an intense and elegant flavor profile with notes of violets, plums, blackberries, black cherries, and some spicy nuances that add complexity. On the palate, it is fresh and lean with a good concentration of fruit and soft and well-balanced tannins. The finish is broad and persistent with hints of cedar, thyme, and plum. It goes beautifully with duck meat, lamb, or baked pasta.
