The Georgian Bedoba Winery is situated in the Kakheti wine region, renowned worldwide for its rich winemaking tradition. The winery, whose name translates as "Day of Fortune," is now run by winemakers Nugzar Ksovreli and Thierry Fontannaz, who enjoy the use of magnificent cellars dating back to the 1700s, when the Konchosvilli family founded the original winery.

Bedoba White is a blend of Rkatsiteli and Kisi grapes. The former come from a 25-year-old vineyard planted on deep clay soils, while the latter are harvested from younger vineyards planted on limestone soils in an area characterized by a cooler microclimate. Vinification takes place separately: in whole-bunch qvevri for the Kisi and in stainless steel for the Rkatsiteli, which is then partially aged in oak.

These procedures ensure the production of a balanced and complex wine that reveals a broad and fragrant aromatic profile with notes of ripe yellow fruit (especially apple and pear), wild herbs and white flowers, honey, and toasted almonds. On the palate, it has good structure. It is elegant, juicy, and concentrated, with a creamy texture and a long, captivating finish. It is very versatile when paired with food: it is excellent with roast chicken or risotto with morel mushrooms, grilled scallops, or veal escalopes with lemon sauce.
