Beaulieu Vineyard is one of Napa Valley's most prestigious producers, with a tradition spanning over 100 years. The estate produces wines of exceptional quality that are a pure expression of the variety of the region's viticultural terroirs and the varietal character of the grapes, using state-of-the-art technology and traditional winemaking methods.
Winner of multiple awards, Georges de Latour Cabernet Sauvignon Private Reserve is widely considered Napa Valley's most iconic red, a wine of extraordinary complexity and evolutionary capacity that takes its name from the founder of Beaulieu Vineyards. The first edition of the wine was released on the market in 1940. The blend includes a majority of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, coming from the western bank of Rutherford, with a small addition of Petit Verdot. The finished wine is aged in 95% new French oak for twenty months.
The wine shows an elegant garnet color with orange reflections. The aromatic profile is rich and complex, with fruity notes of plum and currant, floral aromas of violet and light nuances of sweet spices. On the palate, the wine is rich and complex, bold and generous. Its deep taste and full structure make it perfect with aged cheeses, lamb Tagine, and beef steak.

overall i had a positive experience, they have a wide range of wines, some which are hard to find anywhere else - the main reason i still buy from them, plus the discounts are fair and often, but... their codes for the first offer only works at the first offer, which if fine, but then why would you send me the voucher in each package i order, why spam me on the email and every time i log in on the website? this is really bothering me... then their rewards points system is useless, first of all because you only get peanuts even after spending €250 on an order, but even those peanuts will expire if you won't order again soon, which is unfair, to say the least... and lastly, if you get a corked wine, a wine with any deffect or a wine that leaked (my last order contained a bottle of $100 Caymus Cabernet with a leaking cork, which made the wine tasted cooked and flat), they have no procedure put in place for you to replace or return the wine or to get a refund or replacement - none, which is a big no no no for any wine collector... so all in all i give it 3 stars for now
