La Condenada is a distinctly Spanish red blend, composed of 80% Tempranillo, with smaller portions of Graciano, Palomino, and Grenache. It bursts with scents of blackberry, strawberry, and cassis, with underlying hints of purple flora and spice.
Bodegas Artuke was founded in 1991, when Roberto de Miguel decided to make the leap from selling wine en masse to bottling it himself. Its name is borrowed from his two sons – Arturo and Kike, who now run the winery themselves. Of the 22 hectares of vineyards that Artuke draw from, situated between the towns of Baños de Ebro and Ábalos, in Rioja, approximately 7.5 were once completely abandoned – a marker of the winemakers’ determination to preserve their landscape.
Finely-grained tannins and delicate minerality meet you in the mouth, coupled with vibrant acidity. Black and red fruits envelope the tongue, along with dried herbs and hints of mulled wine spices, such as cinnamon and star anise. The fruits were harvested from an old vineyard planted in sandy soils, before being aged in French oak for 14 months. It is a brilliant pairing partner for mature cheese, roasted meats, or a roast vegetable soup.

overall i had a positive experience, they have a wide range of wines, some which are hard to find anywhere else - the main reason i still buy from them, plus the discounts are fair and often, but... their codes for the first offer only works at the first offer, which if fine, but then why would you send me the voucher in each package i order, why spam me on the email and every time i log in on the website? this is really bothering me... then their rewards points system is useless, first of all because you only get peanuts even after spending €250 on an order, but even those peanuts will expire if you won't order again soon, which is unfair, to say the least... and lastly, if you get a corked wine, a wine with any deffect or a wine that leaked (my last order contained a bottle of $100 Caymus Cabernet with a leaking cork, which made the wine tasted cooked and flat), they have no procedure put in place for you to replace or return the wine or to get a refund or replacement - none, which is a big no no no for any wine collector... so all in all i give it 3 stars for now
