Finca de Los Locos is a bold yet extremely drinkable wine, bursting with notes of red and black hedgerow berries, purple flowers, baking spice, tobacco smoke, and dried herbs. It is a blend of four parts Tempranillo and one part Graciano, harvested from a precipitous site on the side of the river Ebro in La Rioja Alavesa, 550 metres above sea level.
Bodegas Artuke consists of 22 hectares, spanning 32 separate vineyard plots between the small towns of Baños de Ebro and Ábalos in Rioja. It was founded in 1991 by Roberto de Miguel, but is now run by his two sons, Arturo and Kike, who lend their names to the winery. They have a special interest in developing abandoned plots, working to maintain the land, rather than transform it.
This wine walks the tightrope between intensity and harmony, showing a big structure and fine, dusty tannins. Finca de Los Locos spent 16 months ageing in oak barrels before release. It is loaded with notes of blackberry, cassis, and red plum, with a savoury underbelly of cinnamon and garrigue. It is a superb rendition of Rioja, perfect for pairing with spicy meats, pungent cheese, or a roasted vegetable soup.

overall i had a positive experience, they have a wide range of wines, some which are hard to find anywhere else - the main reason i still buy from them, plus the discounts are fair and often, but... their codes for the first offer only works at the first offer, which if fine, but then why would you send me the voucher in each package i order, why spam me on the email and every time i log in on the website? this is really bothering me... then their rewards points system is useless, first of all because you only get peanuts even after spending €250 on an order, but even those peanuts will expire if you won't order again soon, which is unfair, to say the least... and lastly, if you get a corked wine, a wine with any deffect or a wine that leaked (my last order contained a bottle of $100 Caymus Cabernet with a leaking cork, which made the wine tasted cooked and flat), they have no procedure put in place for you to replace or return the wine or to get a refund or replacement - none, which is a big no no no for any wine collector... so all in all i give it 3 stars for now
