Located in Meursault, Burgundy, Domaine Anne Boisson was established following the division of the family vineyards among Anne, her brother Pierre, and their parents (founders of Domaine Boisson-Vadot). Anne owns approximately 1.5 hectares of vines and is one of the most promising figures in the new generation of Meursault winemakers. Her wines are acclaimed for their pure, precise style.
The Bourgogne Blanc is produced from Chardonnay grapes, a key variety of the Côte de Beaune, grown on the estate’s vineyards using vines that are over 25 years old. Vineyard management is meticulous and rigorous, avoiding the use of chemical compounds to ensure high-quality fruit. Following manual harvesting and vinification with indigenous yeasts, the wine is aged for over a year before bottling.
The result is an expressive, elegant wine; the nose reveals fresh notes of apple, white fruit, and tropical fruit, accompanied by distinct mineral nuances and gentle hints of vanilla. On the palate, it is round and smooth, pure and well-structured, with a pleasant vein of refreshing acidity and a good mineral backbone. The long finish offers saline touches. It makes an elegant aperitif on its own and pairs beautifully with seafood, grilled white fish, and light poultry dishes.
