Cellar up to 25 years. It is recommended to decant it one hour before service.

The Domaine André Brunel Les Cailloux is distributed in three appellations: Châteauneuf du Pape, Côtes du Rhône and Vin de Pays de Vaucluse. The meticulous search for quality and the enormous respect for the terroir that distinguishes this winery allows them to produce wines that have great aging and development capabilities over time.

Cuvee Centenaire Chateauneuf du Pape is a blend of Grenache and Syrah from 125 year old vines giving very low yields of 15 hl / ha. The vines are planted on clay soils with rolled pebbles and are managed without the use of pesticides or fertilizers. The harvest is exclusively manual.

The wine is rich and expressive, with intense notes of cassis and blackberry, black currant, cherry, and white pepper. On the palate, where aromas of undergrowth and leather predominate, there is power, complexity, and a nice softness. The tannins are perfectly integrated and the final aftertaste is surprisingly long. This is a great wine that becomes more complex with age. Although it is difficult to wait, aging for 10 years is recommended for its full potential to begin to develop.

It goes well with a Chateaubriand, a venison stew, or a duck tournedos, but it can also be enjoyed alone for the pleasure of drinking an exceptional wine.
