Although Oregon’s Willamette Valley only started producing quality wine in the 1980s, it has quickly developed a reputation for excellence for its powerful yet refined Pinots. Inspired by the ancient art of alchemy, this elegant Pinot Noir is carefully blended from top quality fruit selected from partner growers spread across the valley.

This approach enables the wine to express the complexity and quality of Willamette’s sub-regions, creating a delicious portrait of the region as a whole. Just 1500 cases of this unique Pinot Noir are made each year which ensures a high level of attention to detail and care in both the winery and the vineyards.

On the nose there are delicate hints of cassis, red cherry and dried herbs while the first sip reveals a bright acidity, medium body and fine tannins. The bold red fruit flavours linger long on the tongue and end in a pure, clean finish, making this an excellent match for dishes like duck served in a red wine jus, tomato-based pasta dishes and wild game. This vibrant Pinot is perfect to drink now, but it can also be cellared for another few years to add extra complexity and polish.
