The Vitteaut-Alberti winery was founded in 1951 in Rully, the cradle of Burgundy sparkling wines, by Lucien Vitteaut and his wife, born Alberti. The winery specializes in the production of white wines with the traditional Champagne method. A 23-hectare vineyard located in the best climates of the Côte de Beaune and Chalonnaise, has allowed the family to produce fresh Crémants de Bourgogne (Blanc, Blanc de blancs, Blanc de Noirs and Rosé) in the traditional way for three generations.
Crémant de Bourgogne Blanc de Blancs Vitteaut-Alberti is a blend of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Aligoté, sourced from the Côte Chalonnaise and the Hautes Côtes de Beaune. The company vinifies the wine in the traditional temperature-controlled method and lets it refine for a minimum of 16-18 months in the bottle.
The aromatic profile is subtle with lemony and floral notes. On the palate, the wine finds its balance between liveliness and finesse, citrus fruits and pear. It shows all the mineral freshness of a Crémant Blanc de Blancs, with an elegant and persistent finish characterized by slightly honeyed and toasted notes. It is recommended to serve it at 8-10 ° C as an aperitif, or as an accompaniment to seafood, shellfish and sushi.
