The Compañía de Vinos de Telmo Rodríguez was established in 1994 from the collaboration of Telmo Rodríguez and Pablo Eguzkiza with the aim of rediscovering forgotten vineyards and enhancing Spain's varied wine heritage. From 1994 to today, the company has expanded and now produces wines in regions such as Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Rueda, Alicante, Toro, and Malaga.

The grapes are selected from vineyards in the areas of Malacapa, Ventarral, Cerro Gourman, and Alto la Zorra, planted on stony terrain and with a south and west orientation. Fermentation is spontaneous with indigenous yeasts and the finished wine is then aged for 10 months in stainless steel tanks.

The Telmo Rodriguez MR Moscatel is a dessert wine, characterized by a delicate sweetness and produced from Muscat of Alexandria grapes from the Malaga region. The wine shows a pale yellow color and a delicate and broad aromatic profile with aromas of stone fruit (peach and apricot), and herbaceous and balsamic notes. On the palate, it is a very harmonious wine. It is fresh, round, and has a good acidity. The sweetness is well balanced and the finish is long and persistent. It is the perfect wine for tarts and other fruit-based desserts, but it also pairs deliciously with blue cheeses like Stilton.
