This Cabernet Sauvignon is a bold, full-bodied red wine with a deep ruby hue. On the nose, it offers an intense bouquet of sandalwood, cassis, cherry, graphite, toasted cedar, and subtle hints of cigar box. The grapes were picked by hand from 22 hectares of estate-owned vineyards across Stellenbosch.
Rust en Vrede is one of South Africa’s most renowned wineries, established in 1694, by Simon van der Stel. The estate has a long history of producing premium wines, with a particular focus on red varietals, namely Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. The Stellenbosch terroir, famous for its soils of decomposed granite and Table Mountain sandstone, and its Mediterranean climate, which both contribute massively to the unparalleled quality of their wines.
The palate is powerful and layered, revealing notes of ripe blackberry, plum, and cassis, with undertones of ground coffee and leather. Chewy yet finely grained tannins and well-integrated oak (gained from 18 months of ageing in French barrels) lead into a long, elegant finish with lingering, savoury flavours of vanilla and spice. This Cabernet Sauvignon will pair beautifully with grilled meats, tomato-rich stews, or aged cheeses.

In my opinion you could differentiate between regular customers and one spot when it comes to the duration of points accumulated. Losing my credits is annoying.
