Located in the Douro Valley, Niepoort is a renowned family-run winery founded in 1842 and currently managed by Dirk Niepoort. The estate is located in the Cima Corgo area and produces Port wines and dry table wines.

Redoma Reserva Branco is a blend of traditional white varieties such as Rabigato, Codega do Larinho, Viosinho, Arinto, and others from old vineyards located between 400 and 600 meters above sea level. The vines, some over a century old, are rooted in mica schist soils and benefit from the typical high-altitude microclimate of the Douro Valley. These conditions favor the full aromatic expression of the white grapes, the development of a distinct saline and mineral note, and the preservation of acidity. After manual harvesting and gentle pressing, fermentation takes place in barriques. The finished wine then ages for nine months before bottling.

In the glass, the wine reveals a brilliant lemon-yellow color with silvery highlights. Its aromatic profile is fresh and lively, with notes of stone fruit, citrus zest, and wildflowers, followed by hints of hazelnut and vanilla. On the palate, it is vibrant, lean, and crisp, with a distinctive minerality and a juicy, fresh fruit character. It is expressive and energetic with a brisk acidity. The finish is long and layered, with spicy notes interspersed with saline touches. It pairs perfectly with grilled fish and seafood risotto.
