The Marques de Grinon El Rincon is an elegant and precise wine which is composed predominantly of Syrah along with a dash of Garnacha Tintorera to add a touch of softness and ripe red fruit flavours.
The grapes for this wine are all sourced from the estate’s El Rincón vineyard where the decomposed granite and clay soils help to add a distinctive touch of minerality and a certain finesse to the wine. Combined with hot summer days and cooler nights, these conditions help to create very well-balanced wines that display both freshness and intense flavours and aromas.
Marques de Grinon insist on manually harvesting all of the grapes to ensure optimal quality and following vinification they are matured in new and used French oak barrels for 10 months to add delicate toasty notes and hints of baking spice. Try pairing this delicious red with hearty dishes like slow-cooked lamb casseroles or even fresh pasta with meaty tomato sauces for the ultimate comfort food dinner.
