Masseria Li Veli was founded in the early twentieth century by the Marquis Antonio de Viti de Marco and was acquired in 1999 by the Falvos, a family with over 40 years of experience in the wine sector, with the intention of producing high-quality Apulian wines. The farm stands on an ancient Messapian site overlooking the fertile and sunny plain of Salento in the municipality of Cellino San Marco. The vineyards extend over an area of about 33 hectares.

The Negroamaro grapes are manually harvested from the Pezzo Morgana vineyard, which is located in the province of Brindisi and surrounded by centuries-old olive trees. Here, the soil is clayey and calcareous with a karst subsoil, and the vines are bush-trained. After fermentation, the wine ages for 12 months in selected 225-liter French oak barriques and for 6 months in the bottle.

Li Veli Pezzo Morgana Salice Salintino Riserva has a splendid ruby red color with garnet reflections. On the nose, the wine is broad and intense, with fruity aromas of plum jam and cherry jam, followed by hints of caramel and spicy notes. On the palate, it is round and soft, with a warm and persistent finish that recalls chocolate, dried grapes and sweet spices. Try it with game stews or rich lasagna dishes.
