Rosé Wine
Favori La Favorite 2021
Drink it now. No need to decant.
La Favorite wine from Chateau Favori is classified in the AOP Coteaux Varois en Provence. Favori has been known to man for a long time, thanks to its unique “terroir” perfectly suited to the cultivation of vines. Its name, handed down in history, testifies to this interest. "Favori" derives from “Farobilis” (which in Latin is favorable). 2019 is marked by the acquisition of the estate with the production of several hectares of vineyards and the construction of a new cellar. The eco-responsible commitment occupies a prominent place at Château Favori: transition to organic farming, soil rejuvenation, autonomy (solar energy, use of rainwater), reconstruction, and modernization of irrigation. Its goal is to work with and not against nature, interacting in harmony with our environment.
This rosé made from Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, and Rolle is a real gem: the result of a high-quality approach led by the oenologist Gilles Baude. It is a wine that appears with a nice fullness in the mouth on citrus notes and a long and salty finish.
La Favorite is an elegant and delicate rosé. On the nose, it has fresh aromas of pomelo and exotic fruit. On the palate, it is intensely fresh and thirst-quenching with a light body and delicious flavors of citrus peel. It is the perfect wine to combine with Provençal vegetarian recipes such as ratatouille or omelets, but it can also accompany a lamb with Mediterranean herbs or baked pork tenderloin.
