The Decoy Limited Napa Valley Red Blend is mostly made of Merlot, with additions of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Petite Verdot, and Zinfandel. California's temperate climate guarantees the conditions for the optimal maturation of the grapes, and the production of wines with seductive aromas and soft, elegant tannins. The finished wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels (40% new).
This bold and intense red reveals a rich and captivating flavor profile with aromas of dark berries (cassis, black raspberry, and cherry) and sweet spices (nutmeg and cloves). On the palate, the wine is rich and robust. Its tannins are silky and the finish is long and pleasant, with notes of blackberry and cherry.
