Located in the village of San Martín de Unx, in the Spanish wine region of Navarra, Domaines Lupier is a small winery recently acquired by renowned Bierzo winemaker Raúl Pérez. The estate comprises 27 small plots with old Grenache vines (some dating back to the early 20th century) at altitudes ranging from 400 to 750 meters.

Domaines Lupier La Dama is a red wine made with organically grown Garnacha grapes from 15 different plots at altitudes between 650 and 750 meters. Vines average over 120 years old and are planted on calcareous soils. After manual harvesting and vinification, the wine is aged in French oak barrels of various sizes for 36 months.

In the glass, the wine reveals an intense, dark cherry color. Its aromatic profile is expressive and complex, with notes of red fruits and orange peel, mineral hints, and an undertone of licorice and tea. On the palate, it is well-structured and distinctive, elegant, and balanced. It is soft and powerful, concentrated and rounded, with smooth, well-integrated tannins and a long finish that evokes spicy and mineral notes. Try it with herb-roasted lamb or pork tenderloin in mushroom sauce.
