Set in the town of Bué in the heart of the Sancerre appellation, this domaine was founded in 1995 by Vincent and Cosette Pinard whose family have been making wine here for some 20 generations. Recently their sons Florent and Clément have taken over the running of the domaine and have upheld Domaine Vincent Pinard’s philosophy of natural winemaking and a minimal interventionist approach in the winery.

The two brothers are focused on producing top quality Sancerre wines that express a genuine sense of place and create several single vineyard wines which have cult followings in the Loire and beyond. In total they work 17 hectares of vines which are farmed organically and harvested by hand.

Their Cuvee Flores is sourced from vines with an average age of 27 years planted on stony limestone soils. Once in the winery the must is vinified with half aged on the lees or yeast cells in wooden vats and the other half in steel tanks. The result is a crisp and refreshing Sancerre with a well-rounded texture and hints of brioche, toast and cream amongst the bright citrus and white peach flavours thanks to the maturation process.
