Located in the Chablis wine region of Burgundy, Domaine Séguinot Bordet has a long winemaking tradition, having been founded in 1590. Today, the estate extends across approximately 16 hectares of vineyards, spread across some of the region's most famous appellations.

The Chardonnay grapes are sourced from a plot located in the Premier Cru Fourchaume, renowned for its Kimmeridgian clay-limestone soils rich in marine fossils. Here, the vines, ranging in age from 45 to 60 years, enjoy a southern exposure. After harvest, the vinification and aging take place in stainless steel tanks to promote the pure expression of the grape variety, with a brief stint in oak that adds structure and complexity without overpowering the aromatic and fruity character.

In the glass, Chablis Premier Cru Fourchaume reveals a brilliant golden color of medium intensity with some greenish-silver highlights. Its aromatic profile is rich and expressive, with exuberant notes of ripe white fruit and hints of flint, alternating with light touches of brioche and wildflowers. On the palate, it displays a refined and vibrant minerality typical of its terroir and a well-balanced structure. It is complex and lively, balanced and elegant with a powerful character and a long, mineral finish. Try it with oysters or grilled langoustines.
