Located in the village of Ladoix-Serrigny in the heart of Burgundy, Domaine Chevalier has been a family business for five generations, led today by Claude Chevalier and his three daughters, Anais, Julie, and Chloe, who share the various tasks of promotion, administration, and work in the vineyard and cellar. The estate covers approximately 15 hectares of vineyards.

The Ladoix 1er Cru Les Corvées is an elegant and characterful wine that reveals good aging potential. The Pinot Noir grapes are selected and harvested manually from different plots.

The wine reveals a bright and clear color with dark ruby ​​tones and some purple reflections. Its aromatic profile is broad and pleasantly fruity with notes of blackcurrant, blackberry, and small forest fruits, followed by hints of sweet spices. On the palate, it is round, elegant, and velvety. It has a good concentration of juicy fruit and smooth tannins. The finish is long and recalls gentle notes of licorice and baking spices. It is the ideal wine for game birds, especially roast partridge and duck, or stuffed guinea fowl, but it also pairs well with lamb.
