    Founded in 1995, Dalton has quickly become one of Israel’s most successful family-run wineries thanks to the vision and foresight of father-and-son founders, Mat and Alex Haruni. The estate is set in the Upper Galilee where the Harunis noticed the excellent potential of the local terroir for producing authentic kosher wines with a true Israeli spirit. In total they have some 80 hectares of vines in Galilee which allow the family to make a wide variety of different wine styles.

    Their Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is very popular with lovers of big, bold reds thanks to the powerful flavour profile and well-built tannins which will respond well to extended cellaring. Top quality grapes are sourced from Dalton’s estate vineyards and following vinification the young wine is aged in new French and American oak barrels for 18 months to add finesse and polish.

    The result is a full throttle kosher Cabernet with enticing dark berry and plum notes on the nose. The palate opens with intense cassis and black cherry flavours which are complemented by a muscular structure, firm tannins and long finish with hints of cigar box spice from the barrel maturation. An exceptional wine to add to your cellar or to enjoy now alongside hearty red meat dishes.
