    Founded between the late 90s and early 2000s, the Cuvelier Los Andes winery is located in the Valle de Uco where the vineyards benefit from a rocky and sandy soil, a warm and dry climate, typical of Mendoza, and cold nights typical of the Andes. Cuvelier Los Andes wines are produced exclusively from grapes grown in the company's vineyards under organic and biodynamic viticulture, with low yields.

    El Cuvelier Los Andes wine is a blend of Malbec, Syrah, and Merlot grapes selected by hand, fermented in new barrels and left to macerate for 45 to 60 days. The final wine is aged for 18 months in new French oak barriques.

    The wine shows a very intense and concentrated ruby color with purple hues. On the nose, it is complex and elegant, with seductive notes of coffee, sweet spices, ripe red fruits, and tobacco. In the mouth, the wine is deep and full-bodied, with excellent concentration, a wonderful silky texture of ripe tannins, and a powerful character. The finish is long, fresh, and balanced. It will benefit from a bit of air before service. Try it with a Rib-Eye steak, brisket, or grilled pork ribs.
