Chateau Sainte Marguerite was founded in 1929 in the La Londe area but was bought by the current owners, the Fayard family in 1977. The vines are organically grown and the winery was one of the pioneers in the development of vegan wines. At the end of the vinification, most wineries use animal proteins (fish, egg white or casein) to clarify the wine. At Chateau Sainte Marguerite, the animal proteins have been replaced by pea proteins to clarify the wine.
The vineyards of Château Sainte-Marguerite are planted facing the sea and between palm trees. This idyllic setting gives this cuvée a golden robe, a nose of incredible finesse and a mouth rich in fruity and honeyed aromas all in length. A veritable symphony of pleasure for this excellent Blanc de Provence, from a house whose reputation is second to none.
Chateau Sainte Marguerite Blanc Symphonie shows a complex nose with hints of citrus, vanilla, honey, and toasted notes. The palate is elegant and aromatic with honeyed hints and a long finish. It should be served at 10-11° C as an aperitif, with grilled mullet, cuttlefish, or octopus salad.
