Located in the Languedoc region of France, in the heart of the Clape massif, Château La Négly has been owned by Jean Paux-Rosset since 1992. Since then, winemaking practices have focused on producing high-quality wines, with replanted vines and redesigned cultivation and winemaking methods. In 2006, the Paux-Rosset family also acquired the Domaine de Boede, together with Alain Wittner. Today, the estate spans approximately 50 hectares, plus 25 hectares of Boede, which are cultivated sustainably and yield low crops.
La Natice Rosé is a delicious blend of Cinsault, Grenache, Mourvédre, and Syrah from the estate's vineyards. Here, on the southern slopes of La Clape, the vines enjoy the warm sunshine of the South of France, as well as the mitigating effects of the nearby sea. The vines are rooted in soils composed of sandy loam, derived from limestone debris.
In the glass, the wine reveals a bright color with delicate pastel pink hues. Its aromatic profile is broad and fragrant with fresh notes of currant, strawberry, and raspberry, and hints of peach and lemon. On the palate, it is joyful and lively, elegant and delicate, with good structure and a rounded texture. The finish is long and fruity. Served well chilled, it makes the perfect partner to fish soup, tuna or salmon tartare, or tomato tarte tatin.
