Rhone Red Blends
Chateau de Manissy L'Avant Gout du Paradis Lirac 2019
Drink it now or cellar it for up to 10 years. No need to decant it but it is recommended to open it an hour before service.
The Château de Manissy is a property of the Missionary Fathers of the Holy Family. Initially mass wine producers, they handed over the production and management of the property in 2003 to Florian André. Pure Tavellois winemaker, he invests body and soul in the production of high quality organic wines.
The Avant-Goût du Paradis de Château de Manissy is a tribute to the Missionary Fathers of the Holy Family. Born from a blend of Grenache and Syrah, it is a powerful and elegant wine, capable of giving us, according to the house, a little taste of heaven! The grapes come from plots facing south, kissed by the sun and cradled by the mistral with sandy soil on a clayey bottom, dotted with laminated pebbles.
In the glass, the wine shows a beautiful ruby color with purplish reflections. The nose reveals elegant and intense aromas of black fruit jam, spices, wood, and licorice. In the mouth, it is powerful and elegant, with velvety tannins and a long and persistent finish. Ideal with a wide variety of dishes: beef tenderloin, wild boar stew, cod with chorizo, duck breast, and mashed potatoes with truffle oil.
