Located in Epernay, where it was founded in 1849, Pol Roger is one of the historic and most prestigious Champagne houses. Since 1975, the company has produced a cuvée named after Winston Churchill, a great admirer of its wines and a great friend of Maurice Pol Roger's daughter-in-law, Odette.

This elegant vintage champagne is a blend of a majority of Pinot Noir with additions of Chardonnay. The grapes are selected from the best vineyards in the Montagne Des Reims and Cote Des Blancs areas respectively. The rosé color comes from the addition of 15% red wine from Pinot Noir, before the second fermentation in the bottle. The finished wine then rests for about 7 years on the lees. The long aging gives the wine richness and depth.

Champagne Pol Roger Rose Vintage reveals a lively color with bright pink tones and a fine and persistent perlage. On the nose, its aromatic profile is fragrant with juicy red fruits such as wild strawberries and raspberries and buttery and vanilla notes. On the palate, it is energetic and intense with a beautiful creamy consistency and a marked acidity that balances the whole. The finish is long and elegant. It is the wine to choose for a sushi dinner or with a seafood risotto.
