Located in Vertus in the Côte des Blancs, the champagne house Doyard is a family-run company that owns more than 10 hectares of vineyards planted mainly with the Chardonnay grape variety, in the 1er Cru de Vertus and in the Grands Crus Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Avize and Cramant. The vines have an average age of around 40 years and the company applies sustainable viticulture to allow the maximum expression of the terroir of this magical wine region.

Champagne Vendémiaire is a Blanc de Blancs produced with Chardonnay grapes selected in the Vertus cru with a blend of wines from 3 different vintages. The vinification takes place in oak barrels for 40% of the wine and only 20% is subjected to malolactic. The dosage is light to ensure the pure character of the wine.

The resulting wine is a generous champagne with an intense aromatic profile that alternates notes of ripe white fruits with hints of hazelnut, almond, and toasted bread. On the palate, it is fresh and round with a buttery creaminess and a pleasant flavor complexity. It is fresh and lively, elegant and persistent. It is excellent as an aperitif on its own or with shellfish and seafood.
