The Andre Beaufort Champagne House is one of the most iconic wineries in Champagne, and it’s certified organic since 1994. But it was much earlier, at the end of the 60s, that the company embarked on a journey to eliminate the use of chemical products as much as possible, also experimenting with homeopathy and aromatherapy in the vineyards. The estate's vineyards extend over approximately 7 hectares, located in Polisy and Ambonnay, two very renowned municipalities of the Champagne wine region.
The Champagne Ambonnay Grand Cru Brut Rèserve Rosé is produced with only Pinot Noir grapes harvested manually from vines that are over 50 years old. After a brief maceration on the skins and spontaneous fermentation, the wine is refermented in the bottle according to the Champenoise method and left on the lees for at least 72 months.
The wine shows a bright pink color, with orange reflections and fine and persistent bubbles. On the nose, it reveals fruity aromas of ripe strawberry and raspberry and floral notes of rose. On the palate, it has a good body and some spicy notes. It is fresh, lively, and with a long and linear finish. It is very food-friendly and goes particularly well with fish and seafood dishes.
