Located in Radda in Chianti, the Caparsa winery is a family business owned by the Cianferoni family. The company, certified organic, concentrates its production on Sangiovese grapes, but the Colorino, Canaiolo, Trebbiano, and Malvasia varieties are also grown in vineyards for the production of very high-quality wines.

This Chianti Classico is produced from Sangiovese grapes harvested by hand in the company's vineyards in the Radda in the Chianti area and is matured in cement tanks to keep alive that authentic fruitiness typical of Caparsa wines. The design of the label is inspired by the book "Veglie a Porcignano" written by Prof. Reginaldo Cianferoni, founder of Caparsa, and illustrates a farmer contemplating a bunch of grapes.

Silky and fragrant, this Chianti Classico reveals aromas of violets and dried flowers, aromatic herbs, and tobacco with a delicious final sweet aromatic nuance. In the mouth, the wine shows a marked acidity that makes it agile and refined. The tannins are soft and enveloping and the body is medium and balanced. The finish is energetic and persistent. The wine is perfect with grilled meat (especially the Florentine steak) and stuffed pasta served with meat sauces.
