Can Axartell is a progressive winegrowing estate located in the northeast of the Spanish island of Mallorca. Near the port city Pollença, Can Axartell vineyards enjoy cool, salty breezes coupled with warm, sun filled afternoons. The estate was founded almost 800 years ago following the island’s recapturing from early Moorish occupiers. Then occupied by Christian conquerors, several vineyards were discovered and potentially used for the first time in wine production. Not only wine but olive oil also makes up a large part of the estate’s agricultural production. Today, 40 hectares of olive trees, some of which are likely to date back to the estate’s beginning, are farmed and equally famous as the wine. The estate adopts the motto, "The best wine is made with respect", which seems to accurately represent the quality of farming and production of Can Axartell.

The Can Axartell Rosado is a juicy blend of Pinot Noir, Syrah, Merlot, and Callet - a grape native to Mallorca known for growing well when planted close to the sea. The nose opens up with red fruit notes of strawberry, rhubarb and raspberry that segways to fresh rose petals and white peach. The palate is bursting with bright acidity, mouth watering salinity and a dance of fruit and minerality. This pale-pink rose is the perfect pairing to warm afternoons and is delicious on its own or with a variety of dishes like salads, poultry, cold cuts and cheeses.
