Located in the heart of the Cote d'Or, the Bouchard Père et Fils winery has nearly 3 centuries of history and has been part of the Henriot Champagne house for almost 30 years. Their excellent wines are produced from vineyards located in some of the most prestigious appellations of the region and aged in the beautiful underground cellars of the Château de Beaune, a former royal fortress that the company has occupied since 1820.
This extraordinary white wine is made from hand-picked Chardonnay grapes from 4 different parcels, located on limestone, clay, and marl soils. The wine is vinified separately per parcel, to ensure the full expression of each terroir, and the finished wine rests for approximately 10 months in French oak (approximately 15% new), and for 3-4 months in stainless steel vats.
Beaune du Chateau Premier Cru Blanc reveals a pale gold color with light greenish hues. Its aromatic profile is ripe and broad with notes of white fruit, banana, lime blossom, candied citrus, and some hints of brioche and baking spices. On the palate, it is rich and concentrated with a pleasant fresh vein and a long finish that recalls mineral notes. Excellent with roast chicken and all-white meats.

overall i had a positive experience, they have a wide range of wines, some which are hard to find anywhere else - the main reason i still buy from them, plus the discounts are fair and often, but... their codes for the first offer only works at the first offer, which if fine, but then why would you send me the voucher in each package i order, why spam me on the email and every time i log in on the website? this is really bothering me... then their rewards points system is useless, first of all because you only get peanuts even after spending €250 on an order, but even those peanuts will expire if you won't order again soon, which is unfair, to say the least... and lastly, if you get a corked wine, a wine with any deffect or a wine that leaked (my last order contained a bottle of $100 Caymus Cabernet with a leaking cork, which made the wine tasted cooked and flat), they have no procedure put in place for you to replace or return the wine or to get a refund or replacement - none, which is a big no no no for any wine collector... so all in all i give it 3 stars for now
