Located in Maldonaldo, Uruguay, for over 10 years, Bodega Garzón has been producing high-end wines in its modern winery built according to the latest sustainability standards. Awarded "Best New World Winery" in 2018 by Wine Enthusiast magazine, Bodega Garzon owns vineyards spread across over 1,000 small parcels, planted with local and international grape varieties, and surrounded by a beautiful landscape made of forests and olive groves.

The Tannat grapes, Uruguay's most iconic variety, are hand-picked and fermented in concrete tanks. The finished wine then ages in a mix of stainless steel tanks and barrels for 6-12 months, before bottling.

The result is a balanced and elegant wine with an intense purple color and a broad aromatic profile. The nose reveals notes of ripe red and dark fruit such as raspberry and plum, followed by mineral and spicy hints. On the palate, it is concentrated and well-structured. It is generous and smooth with ripe tannins and a well-balanced acidity. The long finish evokes notes of ripe fruit. It's a wine that goes well with meat, preferably game, but it also pairs beautifully with roast lamb with herbs.
