Known internationally for its excellent wines, the Binekhi winery was founded in the 90s and is located in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi. The company mainly produces red and amber wines from both local and international grape varieties, grown in the 90 hectares of vineyards that extend across the most renowned wine regions of Georgia, such as Imereti and Kakheti. The work in the cellar is carried out with a modern approach but respecting the ancient Georgian winemaking techniques.

The wine is produced with Tsolikouri grapes, one of the most common white varieties of Georgia, selected in the Imereti region. Fermentation takes place according to the traditional Qvevri method, an ancient technique that dates back to around 6000 years ago and is based on the use of buried terracotta amphorae.

Tsolikouri Binekhi is a typical orange wine with a bright amber color. On the nose, it is fragrant and complex with aromas of yellow fruit, spices, honey, and nuts. On the palate, it is round and medium-bodied, concentrated, and harmonious. The tannins are well integrated and the finish is long and recalls spicy notes. It is the ideal companion with roasted vegetables or sheep's cheeses.
