Overlooking the Venetian Plains, there is a low-lying oval-shaped hill, called the Montello. This is where you can find the Bianchin Montello estate, a family winery dedicated to crafting top-quality Prosecco wines.

The wider Montello region is better known for Bordeaux-style reds, but in the direction of the town of Asolo, sparkling whites are also produced. Asolo is known as the Pearl of Treviso and offers the perfect terroir for crafting utterly excellent spumante Prosecco. All of Bianchin Montello’s finest offerings come from a single vineyard, Vigna di Castelsotterra, a sun-baked site in the heart of Montello.

Made mostly from Glera, with a portion of Pinot Noir, this Brut Rosé is an attractive bright pink in colour. Its bouquet is intensely fruity, releasing notes of peach, pomegranate, strawberry and citrus rind. It shows fine perlage, vibrant pink foam, and a round and velvety texture in the mouth. The flavour strikes a balance between lively fruits and pleasant, refreshing acidity. This rosé is meant to be savoured and is perfect for those who want something delicious alongside their dinner. It is the ideal company for seafood or mildly flavoured dishes.
