As soon as you pour yourself a glass of this rich Zinfandel you’ll notice the striking intense garnet hue and enticing aromas of blackberries, raspberries, cassis, and black pepper. The first sip reveals ripe red fruit flavours and hints of dried herbs and sweet spices which complement the fine tannins and well-rounded, smooth mouthfeel. This full-bodied Californian Zinfandel makes an ideal partner for rich pasta dishes like Rigatoni Bolognese, a prime steak, or hard Italian cheeses like Pecorino.
Artezin first burst onto the Californian wine scene in 2002 with the ambition of preserving the state’s tradition of making deliciously bold red wines from old Zinfandel vines. Today the winery works with family-owned grape growers in Mendocino and Sonoma counties who have been working with this noble grape ever since their Italian ancestors arrived on these shores generations ago.
Working with these small, family-run enterprises gives Artezin access to top quality fruit grown according to expertise and traditions that have been handed down for decades. Each plays a crucial part in creating Artezin’s delicious wines which are truly an expression of California’s blessed climate and remarkable winemaking heritage.

overall i had a positive experience, they have a wide range of wines, some which are hard to find anywhere else - the main reason i still buy from them, plus the discounts are fair and often, but... their codes for the first offer only works at the first offer, which if fine, but then why would you send me the voucher in each package i order, why spam me on the email and every time i log in on the website? this is really bothering me... then their rewards points system is useless, first of all because you only get peanuts even after spending €250 on an order, but even those peanuts will expire if you won't order again soon, which is unfair, to say the least... and lastly, if you get a corked wine, a wine with any deffect or a wine that leaked (my last order contained a bottle of $100 Caymus Cabernet with a leaking cork, which made the wine tasted cooked and flat), they have no procedure put in place for you to replace or return the wine or to get a refund or replacement - none, which is a big no no no for any wine collector... so all in all i give it 3 stars for now
