Domaine Anne Boisson is a Burgundy winery located in Meursault, in the Côte de Beaune. The estate was established following the division of family vineyards between Anne and Pierre Boisson (children of the owners of Domaine Boisson-Vadot) and has rapidly gained popularity among critics and the public alike for its excellent wines, which are pure expressions of their terroir. Anne tends to approximately 1.5 hectares of vineyards with meticulous care and controlled yields.
The Meursault is a Chardonnay-based wine produced from grapes grown in various plots surrounding the village of the same name. The clay-limestone soils typical of the appellation impart a mineral character to the wines. Oak aging is managed to maintain a perfect balance between freshness and structure.
In the glass, the wine reveals a broad, elegant aromatic profile featuring fruity notes of ripe citrus, pear, and apple, followed by hints of toasted almond and white flowers, with a touch of marzipan on the finish. On the palate, it is taut and dynamic, with a pronounced streak of acidity and a well-integrated mineral backbone. It is round and smooth, with a long, refreshing finish. It can be cellared for a few years or enjoyed now with fried frog legs or veal fillet with mushrooms.
