Angeline Vineyards was created in 1990 by Courtney Benham, as a sister winery to the Martin Ray Winery, in Sonoma, in the heart of the Russian River Valley. The company purchases and blends grapes from top-quality vineyards throughout California, with minimal interventions in the cellar to enhance the intrinsic characteristics of each grape variety. The company is certified sustainable and is part of the Sonoma County Winegrowers Association.

The Chardonnay grapes are sourced from vineyards located in the coastal areas of Santa Barbara, Russian River Valley, and western Mendocino County, where cool nighttime temperatures favor the concentration of flavors, balance, and the full development of the aromatic potential of this grape variety.

Angeline Chardonnay has a brilliant color with almost golden tones. On the nose, it reveals a fresh and fragrant aromatic profile with notes of pear and fresh pineapple, ripe apple, and hints of vanilla. In the mouth it has a medium body, it is round and generous, but never opulent. It has a good acidity and a long finish that recalls subtle spicy notes. It is the perfect wine for white fish and seafood dishes. It also goes well with a chicken Caesar Salad.
