The Altesino winery, owned by the Gnudi Angelini family, extends over an area of ​​80 hectares (of which 44 are under vineyards), located in Montalcino, in southern Tuscany. The company, which is based in Palazzo Altesi, produces wines from Italian and international grapes. Made with 100% Sangiovese grapes, and only in the best years, Brunello di Montalcino Riserva rests for approximately 5 years in oak barrels and 6 months in the bottle.

The result is a red wine with slightly garnet tones. Its aromatic profile is intense, ripe, and complex with aromas of humus and undergrowth, notes of ripe red fruit and spices. On the palate, it is ethereal and silky, with a good structure and a long, warm, and persistent finish. It is an intense and elegant wine that can remain in the cellar for a long time but can also be enjoyed now with roasted red meat and game. It is excellent with wild boar and hare.
