The Bichot family has been rooted in Burgundy since 1350 but only entered the world of wine in 1831, thanks to Bernard Bichot who created a wine trading business. In 1912, the company began to devote itself to the production of its wines by founding the Beaune cellar and, thanks to the enormous success, in 1937 the Maison became the official supplier of the Swedish court. Since 1966, the company has been led by Alberic Bichot, who carries on the great family tradition by producing exclusive wines, enormously appreciated in France and around the world.
The Cremant de Bourgogne Brut Rosé is an easy-to-drink and refreshing wine produced from a blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Gamay grapes vinified separately to ensure the total expression of the terroir of origin. Pinot Noir, which is the dominant grape variety, comes from the Côte Chalonnaise and gives the wine intense fruity aromas. Chardonnay, sourced in Auxerrois, adds freshness and floral notes to the blend, while Gamay, selected in the Maconnais, gives a touch of liveliness.
The wine shows a nice rosé color with a fine and persistent perlage. The nose reveals notes of blackcurrants and raspberries and a final nuance of citrus. It is a fresh and lively wine, ideal as a summer aperitif. It also goes well with vegetarian summer recipes and some Asian cuisine dishes.
