What's the difference between organic wine and regular?

Organic wine is produced from grapes grown using organic farming methods, which omit synthetic pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers. The winemaking process is prohibitive of the application of additives and preservatives. On the other hand, conventional wines may also use these substances in grape growing and winemaking, and residues may be left. Organic certification guarantees that the standards shall be followed throughout the production process, with special focus on environmental sustainability and little intervention.
