What is the difference between Super Tuscan and Cabernet Sauvignon?

Super Tuscan wines are original blends which are made in Tuscany, usualy containing Cabernet Sauvignon together with native Sangiovese grapes. These wines are not adhering to the typical Italian winemaking rules, so their flavors are robust and complex. On the other hand, Cabernet Sauvignon as a classical Bordeaux variety is a world-renowned grape variety with very robust character, intense dark fruit notes and firm tannic structure.
