Is Riesling sweeter than Pinot Grigio?

Riesling is typically a lot sweeter than Pinot Grigio as it is picked later, in order to get the higher sugar content. Likewise, the ripening process results in the more sugar. Further, Riesling wines are very inherently rich in sugar and also acidity unlike Pinot Grigio. Riesling winemakers are usually fermented with their residual sugar left, however, Pinot Grigio is commonly made very dry. All these features create the sweeter style of Riesling versus the Pinot Grigio's more common dry and crispy mouthfeel.
