How does Sauvignon Blanc age compared to other white wines?

Although a few wines can develop many attractive secondary characteristics with age, most are at their best when they are young, fresh and also within the first two to three years of their release. Sauvignon Blanc is often not very favorable for the longer aging, contrary to the other white wines such as Chardonnay or Riesling, as it may lose its juicy fruitiness. Sauvignon Blanc should be drunk young and fresh in general.
