Founded in the 1960s in the Maipù area by Italian immigrant Alberto Zuccardi together with his wife Emma, the Zuccardi winery is the largest family-run business in Argentina. Today the company, which covers a total of 1600 hectares, of which 430 are vineyards, is managed by José Alberto Zuccardi and his three sons, who cultivate a wide range of grape varieties which obviously include Malbec, but also Cabernet, Sangiovese, Tempranillo, Torrontés, Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc.

In the Zuccardi Q line, the “Q” stands for quality, and represents the care for the selection of grapes from the best vineyards and plants, but also the family's constant commitment to work in the vineyard. The grapes used for Zuccardi Q Tempranillo come from selected old vineyards in the high desert of Mendoza.

The wine reveals a deep dark red color and intense aromas of red and dark fruits (blueberry, cherry, and mixed berries), with notes of chocolate, tobacco, wood, and minerals. On the palate, the wine is powerful and elegant, firm and well-balanced, with medium tannins and a good concentration of flavors. The finish, long and persistent, recalls woody notes. Try it with a juicy grilled steak.
