Vaziani Winery is located in Georgia’s wine capital - the city of Telavi in Kakheti. It is one of the main exporters of Georgian wine and wine culture and has accrued an endless amount of awards since its inception in 1982.

Vaziani’s wines are heavily influenced by the picturesque Alazani Valley, which provides carbonate-rich alluvial soils and a slightly warmer climate, for fuller, sweeter grapes. This white wine was sourced from vineyards across the valley and is a delicious, aromatic blend of several white grapes, led by the refreshing Rkatsiteli.

The nose is replete with rich apple aromas and notes of white flowers. On the palate, this expands into a basket of stone fruits, including apples, pears and peaches, topped off by a splash of fresh citrus. There are also more tropical notes of melon and quince to be found. It is unctuous in the mouth, with a low-profile sweetness that makes it an absolute pleasure to sip. Like most semi-sweet wines, this is a fantastic drink to pair with spicy dishes, particularly if you can find a regional pairing from around the Black Sea. It will also be excellent as an aperitif, to get your mouth watering.
