Located in the wine-growing area of Bolgheri in Tuscany, Tenuta Campo al Mare extends over approximately 30 hectares of land divided into six vineyards in which the company cultivates the international grape varieties typical of the area such as Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Petit Verdot as well as the native Vermentino. In this splendid part of Italy between the Colline Metallifere and the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea, the vines enjoy unique pedoclimatic conditions with hot summers refreshed by the sea breezes coming from the Tuscan archipelago and soils of varied nature.

The Vermentino grapes are selected and harvested from the Fornacelle vineyard a few hundred meters from the Tyrrhenian Sea. Here the vines have their roots in sandy soils, ideal for the production of Vermentino. After fermentation at a controlled temperature and a period of rest on the lees, the finished wine is aged for 4 months in steel and for another month in the bottle.

Vermentino by Tenuta Campo al Mare is a fresh, slender, and mineral wine with an intense and exuberant aromatic profile and notes of stone fruit and lemon peel, white flowers, and mango and iodized hints. On the palate, it is thirst-quenching and lively. It has a pleasant flavor and a well-balanced acidity. The finish is long and refreshing. It is perfect as an aperitif, or with pasta with pesto or seafood.
