It was 1970 when Bill and Susan Sokol Blosser pulled up in their VW Campervan to an abandoned prune orchard where they would later plant their very first vines. Despite having limited winemaking experience, the couple had a vision to craft world-class Pinot Noir in the Dundee Hills which is now the heart of Oregon’s booming wine industry.

Today the estate is run by the second generation of the family, siblings Alison and Alex, who prioritize sustainable farming practices. In 2015 the winery was certified as a B Corp and the siblings farm all of their 88 acres of vineyards organically.

Their Evolution Pinot Noir is designed to offer exceptional value for money and is crafted from top quality fruit from the Willamette Valley. The vines are planted on prized volcanic soils and are carefully harvested by hand to ensure only the best fruit makes it into the bottle. After vinification the young wine is aged in French oak barrels for 16 months followed by another year in the bottle. The result is an elegant and balanced Pinot that’s bursting with hints of pomegranate, black cherry, and hints of sweet spice.
